The Mineral-Rich Northern Batinah
Copper, Gold, and Silver
VMS Deposits
Mawarid has been exploring and mining Volcanic Massive Sulfide (VMS) deposits in the northern Batinah region since the late 1900s. The deposit is known for multiple VMS discoveries, six of which have been mined by Mawarid. Previous exploration has identified conductive anomalies and additional work is needed to refine target areas.
Manajem Mining LLC aims to obtain the exploration license for Concession 11B-1 which covers 545 km² in the northern Batinah Coast of Oman, spanning from the UAE border near Aswad to Wadi Fizh and extends eastward to the coast.
Previous discoveries found at Shinas, Hatta (Main, Extended, West, and South), Mandoos, Khaznah, Aswad, and Safwa.
Manajem Mining LLC was established in 2018 as a joint venture between Mawarid Mining LLC (60%) and Minerals Development Oman SAOC (40%).
