Namibian Marine Phosphates (Pty) Limited (“the Company”) announced that the Chief Executive Officer – Project Operations – Mr Barnabas Uugwanga has resigned from the company with immediate effect to pursue personal business interests.
Accepting Mr Uugwanga’s resignation, the Board of Directors thanked him for his contribution to the Company during his tenure as the CEO and wished him every success in the future.
“The resignation of Mr Uugwanga coincides with the annual review of the company’s strategy, and therefore the recruitment of any successor will be guided by the outcome of the strategy review” said the Chairman of the Board Ambassador Itenge-Emvula.
In the meantime, all enquiries about the operations of the Company should be addressed to the Executive Personal Assistant Ms Rachel Misika (info{at}namphos.com) who will ensure that queries are addressed appropriately and timeously.
